Billy O'Brien Building Youth Sports Program

Supporting Youth Sports, Honoring a Legacy

From the very beginning, Rise Construction’s founder, Bill O’Brien, has been a passionate advocate for local youth sports. Whether through sponsoring teams, providing awards, or stepping in as a coach, Bill believed youth sports were a powerful way to give back to the community and help shape the next generation. His commitment to fostering young talent remains a core value at Rise today.

We are proud to honor Bill’s commitment through the Billy O’Brien Building Youth Sports Program. This initiative is dedicated to supporting youth sports programs with a particular emphasis on facility improvements.

How the Program Works

Each spring and fall, we select a community project to support, offering up to $10,000 in materials and labor. We focus on projects where we can leverage our expertise in steel fabrication and installation to make a lasting difference. Some examples of the projects we support include:

-- Rehabilitation of worn-down bleachers or stands
-- New roofs and structural supports for dugouts
-- Installation of support beams for scoreboards

The Goal

We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to projects that improve youth local sports. As we continue this work, we will feature completed projects on this page to highlight the positive changes made possible through collaboration with the community.

By supporting these efforts, we hope to provide young athletes with safe and welcoming spaces to grow and succeed. Thank you for helping us carry forward Bill O’Brien’s legacy and foster the development of youth sports in our region.
